BTN Donates Washbasins and Masks to Ubaya
SURABAYA - The Covid-19 pandemic has not ended yet. All levels of society must strictly implement the Covid-19 health protocol. One of them is diligently washing hands and using masks.
To that end, the Bank Tabungan Nasional (BTN) donates through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to campuses in Indonesia, especially Surabaya. Among others, the donation was given to the University of Surabaya (Ubaya) yesterday (5/8).
"We are concerned with our stakeholders by providing washbasins and masks. This is the fourth campus that we give donation assistance," said Harman Soesanto, BTN Surabaya branch manager.
Harman said that the donation given to Ubaya is in the form of 9 basins and 1250 masks. The nine basins will be used for each faculty. "Incidentally, there are nine faculties in Ubaya," he said.
Harman hopes that this aid can help Ubaya to maximize the implementation of the Covid-19 protocol. Everyone who enters campus must wash their hands, keep their distance, and wear a mask.
Meanwhile, the Ubaya Vice Rector II, Dr. Noviaty Kresna Darmasetiawan, said that Ubaya is implementing health protocols for employees, lecturers, and students starting from going to work, going home, until getting home.
"Before entering campus, students, lecturers, and employees must have their body temperature checked and checked whether they wear a mask or not. Of course, they must wash their hands before entering a building," she said.
Everyone who enters campus is required to be healthy. If the condition is not healthy, they cannot enter the campus area. Then, hand sanitizer is provided, and Ubaya has the Ubaya Covid-19 Task Force team.
That is why BTN aids really help to optimize the prevention of Covid-19 transmission. The sink will be given to the Ubaya faculty and Polytechnic. "This sink helps the Ubaya academic community to wash their hands with good running water. Even though we still provide hand sanitizers," she said. (ayu/c6/ady)
